Yo-yos, broken zip sticks, death threats from Kotaku… Just stuff kicking around that we don’t know where else to put.  That’s what you’ll find in the drawer.

ChuckieDregs Poster

Designed by the wonderfully talented art man Pablo Clark @inthedarkarcade – you can download your copy HERE

Pablo was good enough to give a detailed walkthrough of what you should do if you wish to print off the poster youself. Here it comes…

1) At an art supply shop ask to see their paper stock. Ideally you want a size as close to A3 as possible (that will make it cheaper). But, naturally, it has to be at least A3 in size. The paper weight you are looking for is between 250 g/m2 – 300 g/m2 (any higher and print shops won’t print on it). The paper should have some texture and shouldn’t be glossy (the print isn’t designed to be printed on to that style). Choose a paper style you like. The only thing to avoid is super, super textured paper, as the printers might be a bit funny about putting it through their machine.

2) Take the paper and the hi-res file on a USB to a print studio. Most large copy and print shops should be fine. Ask them to print on your paper, it should be no problem. If the paper you have brought is larger than A3, you will need to trim it at the print studio. You can make them to do it / ask to use their trimmer / or let them lend you a scalpel and cutting board. The print size is A3, portrait format. They then print it for you. Hey-presto! Done. The whole thing shouldn’t come out at more than £8* (especially if you can buy the correct paper size off the bat). And, if you can find an arts supply shop that is near a print studio, the whole thing shouldn’t take more than half an hour to do. *Prices would probably vary from £4 – £8

Kickstarter – a new low

We ran a kickstarter last year, to help fund this video game reviewing and editing habit. The original page with its incredibly sought after and valuable list of rewards is here.

Thanks to everyone who helped us reach our goal!  And many thanks to @laslo_panaflex for all his help filming the video.

We won a competition and bought a camera!

In the summer of 2012, we won a cash prize for this video that @Laslo_Panaflex  helped us make. It was made for the crowd sourced documentary We Are Northern Lights and won ‘best funny’.
